Starting salary £48,000 with £49,000 after 6 months, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, hybrid working, and full/part-time opportunities. Training is fully paid with ongoing clinical support and CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Full, active NMC or HCPC registration.
• Minimum 12 months' UK clinical experience.
• Experience working with adults; excellent communication and documentation skills.

THE ROLE

As a Disability Assessor, you will use your existing clinical knowledge and experience to assess how a person's health conditions or disabilities affect their everyday life.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing medical evidence and relevant clinical information.
• Carrying out structured assessments by telephone, video or face-to-face.
• Exploring the impact of health conditions on daily living and mobility.
• Applying your clinical knowledge and professional judgement.
• Producing clear, accurate and objective assessment reports.
• Providing information to support DWP decision-making.

No previous Functional Assessor experience is required! You will receive comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you transition successfully into the role.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Full, active and unrestricted NMC or HCPC registration.
• Minimum of 12 months' post-registration UK clinical experience.
• Experience working with adults.
• Strong communication, clinical reasoning and report-writing skills.
• Confidence using your clinical knowledge to make evidence-based assessments.
