Job summary

Qualient Technology Solutions UK Limited is seeking a Java backend engineer to join our UK team. You will design and implement microservices using Java 8+ and Spring Boot, integrating with PostgreSQL and RESTful APIs to deliver scalable backend services.

You will collaborate with Git, Jenkins, and Docker in a cloud-native environment, leveraging AWS services and Kubernetes to build and deploy robust CI/CD pipelines. This role focuses on high-quality software delivery in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Java 8 or above.
• Hands-on experience on writing JUnit tests.
• Hands on experience on Spring Framework, SpringBoot
• Hands on experience with relational database (e.g. PostgreSQL)
• Hands-on experience on Git, Jenkins
• Understanding of micro-services architecture
• Understanding of AWS services like ECS, EKS, S3, SQS
• Understanding of REST APIs
• Understanding of CICD
• Good understanding of Kubernetes
