Job summary

Ampstek in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern frontend frameworks.

You will develop microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native solutions on AWS, collaborate with architects and analysts, and participate in Agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java 11/17+ and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with frontend frameworks (ReactJS/Angular).
• Designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Experience with AWS Cloud Services.
• Knowledge of messaging platforms (Kafka).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and best practices.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, and troubleshooting.
