Job summary

Veritas Education are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for permanent, full-time work in Romford. You will support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, working with teachers to provide targeted assistance and maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.

The role offers a competitive monthly salary of £1,800–£2,300, with DBS and safeguarding checks required. Ideal candidates have school or education experience and a passion for helping children thrive.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school or education setting.
• A caring, patient and positive approach.
• Confidence supporting learning and classroom activities.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for helping children develop and succeed.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in class activities.
• Work alongside class teachers to provide additional support as needed.
• Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
