Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a full-time, permanent role in Romford. You will support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, working with class teachers and providing additional help where needed.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a school setting, a caring and patient approach, good communication and teamwork, and a willingness to complete safeguarding requirements and DBS checks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children in a school or education setting.
• A caring, patient and positive approach.
• Confidence supporting learning and classroom activities.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for helping children develop and succeed.

Responsibilities

• The role will involve supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, working alongside class teachers and providing additional support where needed.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement lesson plans and adapt activities for diverse learners.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents as required.
