Job summary

Veritas Education are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for permanent, full-time work in Romford. You will support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, working with teachers to provide targeted assistance and maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.

The role offers a competitive monthly salary of £1,800–£2,300, with DBS and safeguarding checks required. Ideal candidates have school or education experience and a passion for helping children thrive.

Veritas Education are working with welcoming primary schools across Romford who are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to join their teams.

The role will involve supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, working alongside class teachers and providing additional support where needed.

The ideal Teaching Assistant will have:

• Previous experience working with children in a school or education setting
• A caring, patient and positive approach
• Confidence supporting learning and classroom activities
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable
