Job summary

Supply Desk is recruiting a passionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Iver, Buckinghamshire. You will help children with learning, development and wellbeing while fostering an inclusive classroom environment.

Role involves supporting the class teacher, guiding students of varying abilities, and providing pastoral support. DBS clearance is required or willingness to obtain one. This is a full-time post based in England.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in educational, childcare, or support settings is desirable.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and adapt to individual needs.
• Current enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging learning activities.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students.
• Support students with diverse abilities and SEN where appropriate.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment and encourage participation.
• Support safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
