Supply Desk is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant Level 2 at a Chesham school. You will support students with learning activities and provide targeted help to those needing extra assistance, fostering a safe, inclusive classroom.

• Commitment to inclusion and ensuring all students reach their full potential.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Current enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging, inclusive learning activities.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students to access the curriculum and build confidence.
• Adapt support for a range of abilities to meet individual learning needs.
• Assist with literacy, numeracy, communication and other areas of development.
• Support students with additional learning needs, including SEND, and promote engagement.
• Help develop students' confidence, independence, social skills and attitudes toward learning.
• Create a positive, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
• Provide pastoral and emotional support to promote wellbeing and engagement.
• Monitor progress and communicate concerns to teachers and staff.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to support student progress.
