Job summary

Supply Desk in Bracknell is recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a primary school. The role involves supporting learning, 1:1 and small groups, and helping deliver engaging lessons.

The ideal candidate will have experience with children, strong teamwork, and a passion for education. This is a full-time position with an immediate start; an Enhanced DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
• Positive, proactive and flexible approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Supporting teaching and learning across the classroom
• Assisting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Helping to deliver engaging and structured lessons
• Supporting children with varying abilities, including those with additional needs
• Promoting a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
• Assisting with classroom preparation and resource management
• Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
• Encouraging independence and confidence in learning
• Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff
