Job summary

Academics is seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant to join a warm, welcoming primary school in Tewkesbury. This ASAP start is a full-time position running 8:30 am to 3:30 pm during term time, with Enhanced DBS required (or willingness to apply).

Salary ranges £90–£105 per day, depending on experience. You will work alongside teachers to help create an inclusive learning environment, assist with lessons and activities, and support pupils, including those with additional needs, to succeed.

Qualifications

• Passion for education and working with children.
• Experience as a Teaching Assistant is desirable (not essential).
• Enhanced DBS required (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Help create an inclusive and encouraging classroom environment.
• Assist with lesson planning, classroom activities, and organisation.
• Promote positive behaviour and support students with additional needs to help them succeed.
