Job summary

Aspire People Limited is seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant for a lively mainstream primary school in Worcester. This is a full-time, long-term post with a competitive daily rate and ongoing consultant support, with potential for permanency.

You will work with class teachers to deliver engaging lessons, provide one-to-one and small group support, and help pupils develop academically, socially, and emotionally within an inclusive learning environment, while supporting classroom preparation

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school setting.
• Positive, proactive and adaptable approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Teaching Assistant qualifications desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils in a mainstream classroom environment.
• Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons.
• Providing one-to-one and small group support where required.
• Helping pupils develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
• Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assisting with classroom preparation and behaviour management.
