Job summary

Kisharon Langdon is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to help adults with learning disabilities and autism live independently in Edgware and Borehamwood. You will assist with personal care, mobility, daily living tasks, and engage clients in social and cultural activities in line with our mission and values.

The role is full-time (37.5 hours) with a rota including early/late shifts, weekends, some sleep-ins and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• GCSE level or equivalent required.
• Good standard of written English and communication.
• Experience with adults with learning disabilities or autism desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and mobility as needed.
• Support participants to live independently and join activities.
• Work within a rota including early/late shifts, weekends and sleep-ins.
• Collaborate with the team to design and deliver care plans.
• Promote safety, dignity and positive social engagement.
