Job summary

Aldanat Care Services is seeking a committed Support Worker to join a new service opening in Harwich. You will support adults with learning disabilities and complex needs to live as independently as possible in their own bungalow.

The role involves providing respectful, person-centred support based on individual needs and goals, helping with everyday routines, developing living skills and facilitating community access and meaningful activities.

Qualifications

• Previous care or support experience preferred.
• Values, attitude and commitment to supporting others are important.
• Able to build positive relationships and work with adults with learning disability and complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide respectful, person-centred support based on individuals' needs, preferences and goals.
• Help with everyday routines and developing independent living skills.
