Zusammenfassung

Greensleeves Care is recruiting a Senior Care Assistant to support the running of a 24-hour residential home across England. You will assist residents with personal care, respond to calls and liaise with GPs and nurses to ensure healthcare needs are met, contributing to a calm and respectful care environment.

The role requires QCF level 2 in social care (or equivalent), experience in safe medication administration, and a strong commitment to confidentiality and quality of care.

Qualifikationen

• QCF diploma in social care level 2 or other relevant qualification.
• Proven ability and experience in safe administration of Medication.
• Understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
• Experience in providing care.

• Help ensure all care, domestic and kitchen staff contribute to efficient running of the Home and a positive atmosphere.
• Assist residents with personal care needs.
• Answer call bells, emergency bells, the door and the telephone; greet visitors.
• Liaise with GPs, District Nurses, Chiropodists, etc. to meet healthcare needs.

Shift patterns

This can be either a 12 hour or 10-hour post for 4 nights.

12-hour shifts are18:45 to 07:00, or 10 hour is 20:45 to 7am.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will:

• Help to ensure that all care, domestic and kitchen staff contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the Home and the creation of the right atmosphere.
• Assist residents with their personal care needs.
• Answer call bells, emergency bells, the door and the telephone: greet visitors.
• Ensure the healthcare needs of the residents are met by liaising with GPs, District Nurses, Chiropodists, etc.

• Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) diploma in social care level 2 or other relevant qualification
• Proven ability and experience in safe administration of Medication
• An understanding of the importance of confidentiality
• Experience in providing care
