Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting for a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Tranmere. The role suits an experienced TA who supports children with additional needs and helps pupils overcome barriers to learning. Start date early October 2026, initially until Easter 2027 with possible extension to summer 2027.

The role requires confidence in supporting pupils with SEND and collaborating with the SEND team to deliver targeted support.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND is essential.
• Experience with ASD, ADHD, EHCPs, behaviour or emotional regulation would be particularly useful.

• Supporting pupils with additional needs both in and outside the classroom
• Working alongside the class teacher and SEND team
