Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionateSEN Teacherto join a welcoming school inMerton. This is a fantastic opportunity for an educator who is passionate about supporting students withAutism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN).

As anSEN Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of pupils withASD, MLD, SLD, and SLCN.

  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents to ensure positive outcomes.

  • Implement EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans) effectively.

  • Use adaptive teaching strategies to engage and motivate students.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)or equivalent.

  • Experience working with students withASD, MLD, SLD, and SLCNis highly desirable.

  • Strong understanding ofSEND frameworksand inclusive teaching practices.

  • Patient, resilient, and passionate about making a difference.

  • Ability to differentiate lessons to accommodate diverse learning needs.
