Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Aylesbury is seeking enthusiastic SEN Learning Assistants to join specialist schools on a full-time basis. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, assisting pupils with learning and development while working closely with teachers and the SEN team.

The role requires a caring, patient approach, with commitment to a long-term or permanent position and willingness to assist with personal care where needed.

Qualifications

• Previous SEN, education, support work or care experience.
• Available 5 days a week.
• Comfortable with personal care where required.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support.
• Supporting pupils with learning, communication and development.
• Helping manage emotional and behavioural needs.
• Supporting with personal care and daily routines.
• Building positive relationships with pupils.
• Working closely with teachers and the wider SEN team.
