Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join trusted primary SEN schools in Aylesbury for a September start. Roles are full-time, with 1:1 and small-group support for children with a range of needs, including autism and ADHD.

Successful candidates will be patient, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education. Ideal applicants will have experience with SEN/SEND, be available five days a week, and be willing to support personal care where required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with SEN/SEND required or preferred.
• Availability to work full-time, 5 days per week.
• Experience providing 1:1 and small-group support to primary pupils.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted support to pupils with SEN/SEND.
• Assist in creating inclusive learning environments.
• Support pupils with autism, ADHD, and other needs as required.
• Assist with personal care where needed and appropriate.
• Contribute to long-term and permanent role transitions for pupils.

Are you a caring, patient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity within specialist SEND education?

We are working with fantastic primary SEN schools across Aylesbury that are looking for dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join their teams from September!

We are looking for educators who:

• Have previous experience working with children or young people with SEN/SEND
• Are available 5 days per week
• Are confident supporting primary-aged pupils with a range of additional needs
• Can provide 1:1 and small-group support
• Are patient, adaptable and able to build positive relationships
• Are confident supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, communication needs and/or challenging behaviour
• Are happy and willing to support with personal care where required
• Are open to long-term and/or permanent opportunities
• Are passionate about helping every child feel supported, included and confident
