Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work in welcoming Liverpool secondary schools across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a full-time role with a September 2026 start, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, and ongoing local consultant support.

You will support pupils one-to-one and in small groups, assist teachers with engaging lessons, and provide SEN support where required. You should be patient, reliable and a good communicator, with a TA qualification or

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow guidance from teachers.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils one-to-one and in small groups.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons across subjects.
• Provide additional support for students with SEN as required.
• Promote positive behaviour and student engagement.
• Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
