Job summary

Equans is seeking a Mobile Caretaker to support multiple sites across the Barnsley area. This permanent, full-time role covers general site management, maintenance tasks, porterage, security, and reception duties, with a company van provided.

The successful candidate will hold a full UK driving licence, have trade experience, deliver excellent customer service, and be willing to undergo DBS clearance as required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required and current.
• Experience in a trade or similar role.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritise and work independently.
• Willing to undergo DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• General site management including litter picking and maintenance.
• Porterage, security and reception duties; act as a link between EQUANS and the school.
• Cover thirteen schools as needed, with occasional overtime.
• Carry out general maintenance and small works when not covering sites.
• Operate with a company van provided.
