Job summary

Verts is seeking a Mobile Caretaker to join our Facilities Team at Serlby Academy (DN118EF), with mobile cover across the Harworth area. This 25 hours per week, 52-week contract includes early shifts from 4:30 AM to 7:00 AM and late shifts from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM.

You will provide high quality caretaking services to oversee maintenance and cleanliness, perform basic repairs, check heating and lighting, maintain safety records, monitor stocks, and support training in Health and Safety.

• Willingness to undergo DBS checks and safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out day to day maintenance and minor repairs.
• Making sure that heating, lighting and alarm systems are working properly.
• Carrying out and recording basic checks and maintaining Health and Safety records.
• Monitoring site stocks and undertaking cleaning duties.
• Demonstrating Health and Safety awareness and having a willingness to attend training courses including Health and Safety, all training will be provided.
• Opening and securing the premises as required.

About the Role:

Based at Serlby Academ (DN118EF) plus mobile cover throughout the Harworth area.
Hours: 25 hours per week.
Contract: 52-week contract (Year-round).
Shift Pattern: Split shifts - 4:30 AM to 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM. (Perfect for early risers!)

You'll play a key role in providing high quality caretaking services to oversee maintenance and cleanliness.
