TeacherActive is recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Chepstow to support pupils in the Learning Resource Base / LRB. You will assist with tailored learning activities and work closely with teachers to meet individual needs.

The role is full-time and long-term with an immediate start. You will provide 1:1 and small group support, adapt tasks for ALN, and help pupils develop confidence and independence in a supportive team environment.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working with children with ALN is essential.
• Experience supporting pupils within a Learning Resource Base / LRB is desirable.
• Experience providing 1:1 and small group support.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Patient, caring and adaptable approach to supporting children's individual needs.

Salary: £85.50 - £92.63 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a primary school based in Chepstow, who are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within their Learning Resource Base / LRB. The provision focuses on providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment where children with Additional Learning Needs / ALN can develop their confidence, independence and learning skills.

The school is looking to take on an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis, starting immediately. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will support pupils within the LRB, providing tailored learning support, assisting with classroom activities and working closely with teaching staff to meet individual learning and developmental needs.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children with Additional Learning Needs / ALN essential
• Experience supporting pupils within a Learning Resource Base / LRB desirable
• Experience providing 1:1 and small group support
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach to supporting children's individual needs
