Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Salary: £85.50 - £92.63 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a school in Chepstow who are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work within their Learning Resource Base / LRB. The LRB provides a supportive environment for children with ALN, helping pupils to engage with their learning and develop their confidence and independence.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis for the full term, starting after October half term. The successful Teaching Assistant will work within the LRB, supporting children with ALN and working alongside teaching staff to provide consistent and effective support throughout the school day.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children with ALN
• Previous experience supporting children in an educational or childcare setting
• The ability to commit to a full-time role for the full term
• A patient and supportive approach
• Strong communication skills
• A positive and adaptable attitude
