Cyngor Caerdydd/Cardiff Council is seeking reliable individuals to join our Hostel Cleaning Service, delivering high-quality cleaning across city hostels to support vulnerable residents by maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments.

You will clean communal areas, perform room and flat cleans for new residents, and work respectfully within a high‑pressure setting alongside hostel staff and other council services.

Qualifications

• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding the need for sensitivity and professionalism in hostel environments.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and procedures.
• Experience in cleaning is desirable, but training will be provided.
• Ability to speakWelsh and community languages is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Cleaning communal areas, such as corridors, lounges, kitchens, toilets and shared facilities.
• Carrying out room and flat cleans, especially for new residents moving in.
• Working respectfully and professionally in a high‑pressure environment supporting residents with complex needs.
