Job summary

Route Delivery Solutions (RDS) Ltd is seeking full-time Class 1 HGV drivers for night runs in Manchester. The role requires a valid C+E licence and a Digital Tachograph, with weekend and evening shift availability. No loading/unloading, trunking only, and an emphasis on punctual deliveries.

You will be part of a growing logistics operation with ongoing support. Benefits include a weekly bonus potential, pension after probation, and generous holiday allowances.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• No loading or unloading duties; trunking operations only.
• On average, perform around 3 swaps per shift with boxed trailers.

Driver Responsibilities

• Professionalism and being punctual to ensure deliveries are always on time
• Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
• Hold a Digital Tachograph
• Must be able to work weekends
• Must be able to work evening shifts
• Your driver’s licence MUST have NO more than 3pts & NO pre-existing codes within 5 years - CD, IN, DD, TT, MS, DR
• Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and notify manager of any issues
• Maintain daily electronic logs to track routes and deliveries
• Driver is not required to assist with any loading or unloading
• On average 3 swaps per shift, working with boxed trailers only
