Job summary

Route Delivery Solutions (RDS) Ltd is seeking Class 1 HGV drivers for night shifts in the Manchester area. You will operate delivery routes with boxed trailers, maintaining logs and ensuring timely deliveries.

This full-time role offers weekends work, no loading duties, on-site parking, and a pathway to pension after probation. Enjoy consistent home-time and access to modern navigation tech to support safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
• Must hold a Digital Tachograph.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Driver’s licence must have NO more than 3 points and no pre-existing codes within 5 years (CD, IN, DD, TT, MS, DR).

Responsibilities

• Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and notify the manager of issues.
• Maintain daily electronic logs to track routes and deliveries.
• Driver is not required to assist with loading or unloading.
• On average 3 swaps per shift, working with boxed trailers only.
