Job summary

Prime Life is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant for Meadow View Care Home in Alcester. This full-time role focuses on compassionate support for residents with age-related conditions, dementia, and physical needs. No prior experience is required as full training is provided, and a friendly, patient approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker is desirable but not essential as full training is provided.
• Candidates must be patient, understanding and respectful of residents' abilities.
• Understanding of dementia is beneficial for this role.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and choosing an outfit.
• Support residents to dine and maintain nutrition and hydration.
• Encourage safe mobility around the home with mobility aids and equipment.
• Provide friendship and companionship, and accompany residents to social outings or appointments.
• Maintain accurate and timely written records and documentation.
• Engage with a multi-disciplinary team to promote residents' health and well-being.
• Welcome family members to the home and assist with enquiries.
