Qualifications

• Genuine caring nature and desire to make a difference for residents.
• Prior experience as a Care Assistant or Support worker is desirable but not essential as full training is provided.
• Understanding of dementia is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and choosing an outfit.
• Support residents to dine and maintain nutrition and hydration.
• Encourage safe mobilising with mobility aids and equipment.
• Provide friendship and companionship and accompany residents to appointments or social outings.
• Maintain accurate records and complete documentation.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team to promote residents' health and wellbeing.
• Welcome family members and assist with enquiries.
