Job summary

Generative Group in London is seeking a Software Engineer to build and ship product end-to-end across the frontend, backend and infrastructure.

You will work closely with founders and insurance brokers to understand real workflows, develop practical solutions, and take them from concept through production deployment.

The role blends forward-deployed engineering with core platform development, offering opportunities to contribute to agent infrastructure, data models, and security.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years’ software engineering experience in early-stage environments.
• Strong full-stack, product engineering capability.
• Experience building products from 0 to 1 with end-to-end ownership.
• Shipping mentality, high agency and collaborative working style.
• Able to communicate complex mental models quickly; interested in mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship product end-to-end across the frontend, backend and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with founders and brokers to translate workflows into production deployments.
• Develop integrations and bespoke workflows for major broker customers.
• Improve platform reliability and marginal cost of delivery.
• Contribute to agent infrastructure, data models, evaluation systems, security or cyber capabilities.
