Generative Group in London is seeking a Software Engineer to build and operate production systems that power real-world property workflows. You will contribute across service design, implementation, testing, deployment, observability and ongoing improvement.

You will design clear service boundaries, build reliable APIs and event-driven integrations, work with queues and safe retries, model data, ensure secure live systems, write tests and own code from concept to production.

Qualificações

• Production backend engineering experience and a degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical field.
• Fluency in a robust backend language and framework, with the ability to ramp up quickly in TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of system design, APIs, concurrency, authentication, data modelling, transactions and failure handling.
• Experience with testing, live schema changes, event-driven systems and shared codebases.
• A detail-oriented, clear, collaborative, adaptable and ownership-driven approach.
• Ability to use AI-assisted development responsibly while understanding and owning all shipped code.

Responsabilidades

• Design clear service boundaries and build reliable APIs and event-driven integrations.

• Write tests alongside code and own features from concept through production.
