Job summary

Burendo is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to support and enhance a diverse range of applications. You’ll operate within an L2/L3 support function, owning BAU operations and contributing to incident resolution in a rostered out-of-hours rota, in Leeds.

The role requires hands-on experience with Java, Python, NodeJS, or C#, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), and Terraform; ITIL practices are also important. React.js exposure is a plus and collaboration is key.

Qualifications

• Proficient in at least one of Java, Python, NodeJS, or C#
• Strong hands-on cloud platform experience (Azure or AWS)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code technologies such as Terraform
• Solid understanding of ITIL practices
• Experience with on-call and out-of-hours support responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Perform business-as-usual operations for a variety of applications
• Contribute to the management and resolution of complex L2/L3 incidents
• Conduct root cause analysis and post-incident investigations
• Maintain and update runbooks and operational documentation
• Participate in an on-call rota, including out-of-hours incident response
• Mentor mid-level and associate engineers within the team
