Job summary

Hadean is seeking a Software Engineer for the dominAI team to build our next-generation command and control platform. You will work on end-to-end features across frontend React/TypeScript and backend Node.js, integrating AI and large-scale simulation into the C2 workflow.

You will join a cross-functional team focused on rapid delivery, mentorship, and code quality. The role requires UK Security Vetting to SC level and weekly office presence in Shoreditch.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Professional experience building web applications with React and TypeScript.
• Working proficiency in Node.js - able to contribute to backend services.
• Strong communication skills to explain work to engineers and stakeholders.
• Curious and quick to learn with openness to feedback.
• Ability to obtain UK Security Vetting status to at least SC level.
• Willingness to attend the Shoreditch office at least once per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the dominAI web application using React and TypeScript, building reliable interfaces for operational data.
• Build and extend backend services in Node.js that integrate with AI inference and simulation systems.
• Own well-scoped features end to end from requirement through shipping and support.
• Plan and execute development sprints with the team and provide estimates for your work.
• Collaborate with UX designers to create clear interfaces for complex data sets.
• Maintain quality via automated and manual testing with QA and code reviews.
• Grow skills across the stack through pairing and mentorship.
