Job summary

NEC Software Solutions in the United Kingdom is seeking a Lead/Senior Software Engineer - Full stack to own the design, development, and delivery of end-to-end platform capabilities across frontend, backend, and data layers.

You will work across React/Next.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL, cloud infrastructure, and integration platforms; drive architecture, security, and scalable delivery, and push AI-driven innovation within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience in full stack software engineering.
• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own design, development, and delivery of end-to-end platform capabilities across frontend, backend, and data layers.
• Drive architectural decisions and best practices across the engineering team for secure, scalable solutions.
• Lead AI integration initiatives and improve engineering workflows to translate capabilities into product value.
• Support Agile/Scrum processes and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
