Job summary

Willis Re is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to help build its next-generation platforms for reinsurance broking, analytics and client-facing tools. This is a six‑month contract role with Inside IR35, offering a daily rate of £700–£850 and a hands-on, cloud‑first environment.

You will work across the stack, from APIs and services to responsive UIs, collaborating with architects, stakeholders and delivery partners to ship software used by brokers and analysts daily.

Qualifications

• Extensive professional software engineering experience shipping production systems.
• Experience in insurance, reinsurance or financial services is a plus.
• Strong API design, secure coding practices and cloud native delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship features end to end across APIs, services and UI.
• Develop cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure using PaaS and containers.
• Surface data via APIs for brokers and analysts with performance in mind.
• Leverage AI-enabled features and integration patterns within the stack.
• Collaborate with architects, product stakeholders and delivery partners.
