Job description

Amazon Japan is looking for an innovative leadership recruiter with a passion to join our talent acquisition organization. We are looking for a talented recruiter who can thrive in a challenging, fast paced environment. The person in this role must be able to work independently, take a hands-on approach, and interface effectively with professionals at all levels.


You will drive the effort to find and attract talent at a senior level across the organizations in Japan, collaborating with Sourcing Recruiters, business leaders and HR. You’ll also take on a lead role in various projects that impact the recruiting team’s efficiency and strategies, strengthening our ability to hire quality, diverse talent.


Key job responsibilities
  1. Manage and prioritize multiple searches against a timeline and have experience setting benchmarks, metrics, and understand how to prioritize to hit all customer SLAs.
  2. Conduct market research and candidate generation in a high volume environment.
  3. Engage and nurture potential candidates by holding career consulting and pitching right opportunities.
  4. Build and maintain a network of potential leadership candidates through pro-active market research and ongoing relationship management.
  5. Conduct interviews of potential leadership candidates.
  6. Work directly with senior leaders to deeply understand business needs and lead an efficient high-quality recruitment funnel.
  7. Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing any new processes and fine-tuning standard processes for recruiting that fits within Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer.
  8. Build search strategies with deliverables, timelines and lead a formal tracking process.
  9. Manage 360 degree recruiting from sourcing to closing.
  10. Work on various projects focused on getting candidates into our pipeline quickly.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  2. 2+ years relevant experience managing 360° recruiting either at corporate setting or recruiting agencies.
  3. Business level of Japanese and English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Ability to build and maintain a diverse network of leadership talent across the globe.
  2. Ability/experience in conducting proactive market research on talent markets.
  3. Ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders.
  4. Experience in executive search.
  5. Ability to screen and prepare a candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.
  6. Interest in leading and participating in special projects/recruiting initiatives, including assessment of best practices in recruitment of diversity and events management.
  7. Excited about working in a diverse group and contributing to an inclusive culture.
