Job summary

Ex-Mil Recruitment Ltd is working with an expanding organisation seeking a hands-on Fulfilment Team Leader to take ownership of a busy warehouse operation in Snodland, Kent.

You will lead a team of 6-8 warehouse operatives, driving improvements in productivity and ensuring customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising a warehouse, logistics or fulfilment team.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to motivate and develop others.
• Calm, structured approach under pressure.
• Good communication with multiple departments.
• Basic IT skills including warehouse systems, email and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of warehouse operatives.
• Plan daily workloads and allocate tasks.
• Ensure orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time.
• Drive improvements in warehouse efficiency and productivity.
• Conduct daily team briefings and maintain clear cross-department communication.
• Monitor attendance, performance and standards, addressing issues promptly.
• Work with Stock Control, Customer Service and Dispatch teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Produce simple operational reports for senior management.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety and organisation.
• Lead from the front by supporting warehouse activities as needed.
