Job summary

IKEA Exeter is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join our friendly team in Exeter. You will pick and prepare large orders for online and in-store collection or delivery, and support stock checks to ensure accurate availability.

Responsibilities include stock receiving, order picking, and assisting customers in-store while using our systems to keep stock up to date. A robust health and safety mindset is required.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using computers and handheld devices to support stock checking and answer customer questions.

Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare large volumes of orders for online and in-store collection or delivery.
• Receive stock, pick, check order accuracy, and prepare orders for delivery.
• Meet customers in-store during picking and assist as needed.
• Use internal systems to ensure accurate stock availability at all times.
• Ensure products are always available by completing tasks in the warehouse area.
• Follow IKEA health, safety and security rules and help prevent incidents.
• Contribute to lean, cost-conscious daily fulfilment operations.
• Perform manual handling with safety protocols and pump trucks.
