Job summary

Schenk UK is seeking an experienced Class 1 LGV Fuel Driver to join the Ellesmere Port team on a Monday to Friday tramping pattern. This role emphasizes safety and adherence to Driver Transport Legislation, with fully paid breaks and ADR/CPC refreshers.

Ideal candidates hold a Class 1 licence, CPC, ADR (all classes except 1 & 7), and a Petroleum Driver Passport, with strong tanker experience and a focus on safety within a leading UK chemical transporter.

• Tachograph card.
• Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• ADR licence all classes other than 1 & 7.
• A PDP (Petroleum Driver Passport).

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Class 1 LGV Fuel Driver to join our team based at Ellesmere Port working a Monday to Friday tramping shift pattern. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A TRAMPING ROLE .

Pay Rates:

• £22.39 per hour with a 10 hour guarantee per shift

• £29.85per hour overtime (Monday to Friday after 10 hours)

• £29.85 per hour for all hours worked on Saturdays

• £33.59 per hour for all hours worked on Sundays

• £44.77 per hour for worked hours on Bank Holidays (plus day in lieu)

• £4.15 meal payment per shift

Essential Requirements:

• An LGV Class 1 licence with no more than six points

• A tachograph card

• A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)

• A valid ADR licence all classes other than 1 & 7

• A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation

• A safety focus

• Minimum 2years Class 1 experience

• At least 2 years Tanker Experience

• A valid PDP (Petroleum Driver Passport)

In addition, overtime is available, CPC training hours, courses and CPC accreditation and driver medicals are all paid for. Full PPE is provided.
