Job summary

A1 Personnel Employment Limited in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Fuels Technician to join a specialist Technical Services team. You will formulate and test a range of fuel blends, manage projects from start to finish, and provide technical support to customers and internal teams.

The role requires a Chemistry degree, 2+ years’ laboratory experience (fuel testing preferred), strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently under pressure while maintaining high HSE and quality

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry or equivalent is essential.
• 2+ years' laboratory experience, ideally with fuel testing.
• Previous project experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Strong HSE focus.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple technical projects from start to finish.
• Formulate and test a range of fuel blends.
• Troubleshoot production, technical and formulation issues.
• Support raw material sourcing, testing and approval.
• Provide technical support to customers and internal teams.
• Assist with process improvements and mentor team members.
• Ensure all work meets HSE and quality standards.
