Adore Recruitment Ltd in South Essex is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join a specialist fuels environment. You will carry out laboratory analysis on fuel, component, pilot and water samples and support development and release of bespoke fuel products.

The role requires attention to detail, a methodical approach and willingness to work with established industry methods, quality systems and calibration activities. Permanent position with salary up to £30,000.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry or an equivalent scientific qualification.
• Previous laboratory experience desirable.
• Experience or knowledge of fuels laboratory testing advantageous.
• Strong technical, organisational and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Methodical approach with strong problemsolving ability.
• Able to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
• Positive, flexible and teamfocused approach.

Responsibilities

• Calibrating and standardising laboratory equipment.
• Preparing fuel blends and additive solutions accurately and consistently.
• Supporting the Laboratory Quality Management System.
• Raising nonconformities, out-of-specification results and opportunities for improvement.
• Supporting method development and continuous improvement activities.
• Assisting with MSDS creation where required.
• Working closely with the wider Laboratory and Technical teams.
• Maintaining high standards of HSE, quality and analytical accuracy.

We’re partnered with an established specialist business developing highly technical fuel products for customers across the Oil & Gas, Automotive, Aerospace and Motorsport industries.

They’re looking for a Laboratory Technician to join their team, carrying out a range of laboratory analysis and supporting the development and release of bespoke fuel products.

This is a hands-on role for someone with strong attention to detail, a methodical approach and an interest in working within a technical laboratory environment.

You’ll be responsible for carrying out and reporting analysis on fuel, component, pilot and water samples, working to established industry and internal test methods whilst supporting laboratory quality systems, equipment calibration, fuel blending and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing
