Job summary

Comex2000uk is seeking Self-Employed FTTH Engineers to work on the Openreach network, handling end-to-end Fibre installation and maintenance for residential customers, on both overhead and underground networks.

Role requires up-to-date safety and NRSWA/PIA accreditations, with hands-on installation, customer visits, and testing of new services. You will use mobile job management apps and tools, follow safety procedures, and ensure work is completed to high quality with clear reporting.

Qualifications

NRSWA SLG and PIA accreditations must be current at application.
Experience with overhead and underground PIA networks.
Additional accreditations such as SA001, S8, SA051C, SA002, SA007, S7, N022, SA020, N037, K008 are desirable.

Responsibilities

Network Build-outs: Install new telecom services by running overhead lines on utility poles and subterranean ducts.
Customer installations: Visit homes or businesses to set up internal cabling and ensure service works.
Network Maintenance: Work with live network infrastructures, ducts and poles.
Quality & Safety: Follow safety procedures and restore sites to a clean, safe state.
Reporting & Admin: Record work and keep information up to date in systems.
