Job summary

Comex-2000 is seeking highly motivated telecoms technicians for FTTH installations on the Openreach network across residential and business sites. You will be hands-on with full installation and maintenance of telecom services on Full Fibre networks, delivering end-to-end solutions.

Applicants must hold relevant accreditations and have experience with overhead and underground PIA networks. You will work in a physically demanding role requiring safety discipline and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

NRSWA SLG and PIA Accreditations are preferable. Experience with both overhead and underground PIA networks.
Additional accreditations such as A001, S8, SA051C, SA002, SA007, S7, N022, SA020, N037, K008 are highly desirable.
Strong practical knowledge of telecom networks and ability to use power tools; basic IT for job management apps.

Responsibilities

Network Build-outs: Install telecom services by overhead lines on poles and underground ducts.
Customer installations: Visit homes or businesses to set up internal cabling and ensure service works.
Network Maintenance: Work with live network infrastructures, ducts and poles.
Quality & Safety: Follow safety procedures and keep sites safe and clean.
Reporting & Admin: Record work details in our systems promptly.
