Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a proactive Team Leader for our Fruit & Veg counters. You’ll drive a small team to keep produce fresh, displays vibrant, and shelves well-stocked for local shoppers. You will coach colleagues, manage daily workloads, and uphold safety and quality standards across the department.

We value hands-on leaders who motivate others, communicate clearly, and deliver excellent service in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

Our Fruit & Veg counters are a huge part of what makes our stores special. As Team Leader, you’ll lead our Fruit & Veg team to keep our produce fresh, our displays vibrant, and our shelves well-stocked for our local shoppers every day.

In this role, you’ll be on hand to:

• Put customers first: Inspire your team to deliver friendly, helpful service, placing customers at the heart of everything you do and acting on their feedback.
• Maintain exceptional standards: Reduce waste and keep quality sky-high through careful stock handling, date code checking, rotation, and proper storage.
• Lead and support your team: Coordinate day-to-day department communication, creating an engaging, supportive environment where achievements are recognised and ideas are welcomed.
• Keep operations running smoothly: Analyse department data to simplify routines, speed up processes, and ensure all safety, quality, and legal guidelines are met.
