Job summary

apetito is looking for a delivery driver to join Wiltshire Farm Foods in the UK. You will deliver frozen meals to customers, pick orders, update the delivery app, and provide outstanding service.

The role operates 40 hours per week across 5 days in 6, with bank holidays included, and you will work in a -20C coldstore environment with protective clothing provided. Applicants should have a UK manual driving licence for at least 2 years, basic computer skills, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service-based role.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Basic computer literacy including use of phone apps.
• Evidence of work stability.
• Basic secondary education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver frozen meals to customers in a timely manner.
• Picking orders within the coldstore.
• Use app to update customer deliveries.
• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
• Undertake pre-shift inspection of your van.
• Drive safely and within the law.
• Clean and refuel your van as needed.
• Contact the office with discrepancies or delays.
• Ensure customer confidentiality.
• Help the office and picking teams when required.
• Report health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues.
• Assist the team if another member is absent.
• Carry out local marketing activities to attract new customers.
