Job summary

Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of the apetito group, is recruiting a driver to deliver frozen meals to customers across the UK, working 40 hours per week across five days in six, including bank holidays. You will operate in a -20ºC coldstore, with protective clothing provided, and opportunities to move between teams for development.

Role includes delivering great customer service, using Apps to update deliveries, and contributing to office and picking teams as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience within a customer service-based role.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
• Basic computer literacy including use of phone apps.
• Evidence of work stability.
• Basic secondary education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver frozen meals to customers in a timely manner.
• Pick orders within the coldstore.
• Use the app to update deliveries.
• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
• Undertake pre-shift inspection of your van.
• Drive safely, responsibly and within the law.
• Clean and refuel your van as needed.
• Contact the office with any discrepancies or delays.
• Ensure customer confidentiality.
• Help the office and picking teams when required.
• Report health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues.
• Assist team if another member is absent or on holiday.
• Carry out local marketing activities to attract new customers.
