Job summary

Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of the apetito group, is the UK’s largest ready-meal supplier, cooking and delivering over 330 frozen meals across the UK primarily to the elderly, their family members and healthcare professionals.

This role delivers frozen meals to customers, works in a -20ºC coldstore with protective clothing, and uses a delivery app to update deliveries while providing excellent service. Full UK driving licence and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service-based role.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
• Basic computer literacy including use of phone apps.
• Evidence of work stability.
• Basic secondary education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver frozen meals to customers in a timely manner.
• Picking orders within the coldstore.
• Using our app to update customers deliveries.
• Delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
• Undertake pre-shift inspection of your van.
• Drive safely, responsibly and within the law.
• Clean and refuel your van as needed.
• Contact the office with discrepancies or delays.
• Ensure customer confidentiality.
• Help the office and picking teams when required.
• Report health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues.
• Assist the team if another member is absent or on holiday.
• Carry out local marketing activities to attract new customers.
