Government Recruitment Service seeks a Verification Assurance Officer to operate on-site at Jobcentre locations in the Southern region. You will interview claimants, verify identification and universal credit elements, and collaborate with colleagues to prevent fraud on the frontline.

Travel between sites may be required. Successful candidates will work to strengthen verification processes, raise awareness of fraud risks, and provide practical support to Jobcentre teams while maintaining robust

Qualificações

• Interviewing claimants to verify identification, housing and childcare cost elements of Universal Credit

Responsabilidades

• Conduct initial and further evidence interviews with claimants
• Verify documents and conduct audits as part of the verification process
• Provide feedback on fraud trends to risk and intelligence teams
• Lead customer education sessions to explain responsibilities and consequences of non-compliance
• Maintain accurate Management Information (MI) for performance teams
