Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a dedicated Supervisor to support operations at a major High Street brand. The role is full-time (37.5 hours/week) and focuses on maintaining high quality work, team leadership, and strong customer service across a busy environment.

You will oversee daily tasks, manage rotas, handle stock orders, and ensure food hygiene and safety standards are met while supporting a inclusive, values-driven workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising frontline teams in a similar environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work under pressure with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
• Supervise a team and create a welcoming, supportive environment.
• Act as a responsible key holder and cover shifts as needed.
• Assist with weekly bookwork and other duties.
• Produce weekly rotas following manager guidelines.
• Place orders to maintain stock levels.
• Delegate tasks and keep the team proactive.
• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and health & safety regulations.
