Job summary

Thames Water is seeking a Process Technician at Esher Sewage Treatment Works. This frontline role keeps our plant running and ensures a reliable water supply while protecting the environment.

You will carry out planned maintenance, operate and clean equipment, and respond to faults across sites to maintain operational standards. Based at Esher STW (KT10 8AU), the role is 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with standby rota payments and overtime opportunities after completing essential

Qualifications

• No background in the waste or water industry required.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out scheduled planned maintenance on plant and equipment to standards.
• Operate and clean plant and equipment to maintain safety and performance.
• Attend reactive jobs following plant and equipment failure.
• Keep sites clean and undertake safety and security checks.
• Carry out daily site checks to ensure compliant operation.
