Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to lead the design and implementation of scalable front-end solutions. You will collaborate with product, UX and backend teams to deliver high-quality user experiences and mentor junior developers.

You will stay current with industry trends, promote best practices, and contribute to code reviews, testing, and performance improvements across the application stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and modern front-end build tools.
• Hands-on experience with React.js and core principles.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, Git, and modern state management libraries.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and launch of scalable web applications with focus on UX.
• Architect scalable, maintainable front-end solutions.
• Collaborate with product, design and backend teams to deliver UI.
• Review code, mentor juniors, and promote best practices.
• Ensure feasibility of UI/UX designs and participate in sprint planning.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and monitor performance improvements.
